ELKO becomes the first official distributor of realme smartphones in the Nordics and Baltics

ELKO Grupa AS and its daughter company Gandalf Distribution AB become the first to distribute and introduce the Baltic and Nordic markets to the world's fastest-growing smartphone brand – realme.
Update: Since October 2020, also WESTech spol. s r.o., a member of ELKO Group has become an official distributor of realme smartphones in the Slovak Republic.
Established in mid-2018, the realme brand shook up the market thanks to the specifications and pricing strategy of its product. realme has quickly emerged as the world's fastest-growing smartphone brand, taking a confident place among other mainstream brands.

According to Counterpoint statistics of global smartphone shipments in Q1 of 2020 emerging smartphone brand realme ranks 7th, but comes in 1st with a year-over-year growth rate of 157%.

After successes in Asia, realme now looks to Europe, and a year ago, in June 2019, realme officially announced its entrance onto the European market. With great results in countries like Spain, realme has already entered into the UK, Italy, France, Germany, Poland and many other markets in Europe. As a start, the product range for the Nordics and Baltics will include the following models: realme 6; realme 6 Pro; realme X3, realme X50 Pro, and realme X50, with the potential to extend the assortment with other realme ecosystem products such as smartwatches, headsets and TVs. The first deliveries are planned for the beginning of September.
