ELKO provides highly developed infrastructure and logistics to it’s partners in Eastern – Europe.

Established logistics network and warehousing, broad regional presence:
  • 15 000 m2 of warehouse space;
  • Single access platform for vendors in 9 countries;
  • Three logistics hubs (Amsterdam, Riga and Helsinki) and local warehouses to streamline distribution; 
  • Amsterdam warehouse owned and operated by Copex, a Rhenus Logistics group company; 
  • Helsinki warehouse, owned and operated by Geodis Wilson, serves the CIS market;
  • Riga warehouse, leased and operated by ELKO Group, primarily serves the Baltic markets;
  • Apart from Helsinki and Amsterdam, ELKO leases local warehouse facilities in six countries of operation to ensure rapid delivery times;
  • Delivery of goods is outsourced to international freight forwarding companies such as DHL, DSV, TNT and others; 
  • Global inventory insurance with IF Latvia (Sampo Group), covers stock from time it leaves vendor to arrival at customer.

For the convenience of our customers and manufacturers, Elko Group has introduced and constantly improves an electronic commerce system under the eCom brand name - a service that has won wide recognition in IT business.

eCom is ELKO Group’s web-based, eCommerce platform which supports:
  • Purchase and sales process;
  • Marketing and CRM (customer relationship management);
  • Transit tracking;
  • Finance (credit limits and payment status);
  • RMA process.
eCom also provides direct access for ELKO customers to all necessary information in order to:
  • Place orders quickly and conveniently;
  • Follow one’s financial transactions in a clear and convenient form;
  • Receive information on current product/manufacturer promotion campaigns, special offers, etc.;
  • Quickly learn about new products; 
  • Receive information on seminars and workshops organised by ELKO and its manufacturers;
  • Receive the latest information on other activities of ELKO Group.
eCom is a 24 hour/7 days-a-week service. Using eCom allows orders to be placed from any location with an available Internet connection.
One of the essential business directives of ELKO Group is the development and improvement of E-com service. This service considerably improves transaction times, reduces errors, optimizes expenses and increases work efficiency in our company, as well as in those of our business partners and customers.

The mission of ELKO Group’s Finance department is to continually search for the most beneficial financing terms and the most profitable financial services.

We offer our partners a variety of new financing tools and possibilities, to allow efficient planning and organisation of their financial flow in managing their businesses.
To each of our customers we offer a credit line prepared in cooperation with credit risk companies.                  

The professionally organised operations of our Finance department provide our business partners with constant and immediate access to necessary information on all mutual financial transactions, including those executed via eCom service (see Electronic commerce – eCom). 

In keeping with the pace of growth and future ambitions of the ELKO group, the Elko Grupa Joint Stock Company constantly searches for and improves new development opportunities. One of the main tools facilitating the development of the company is the attraction of additional financing, thus increasing the operating capital. The Elko Grupa Company has implemented a number of finance attraction operations, including loan opportunities in cooperation with banks, issuing of debt securities and attraction of finance investors.

professional, competent assistance to our vendors in promoting their products;
corporate marketing: improvement of recognition and image of the company and of our partner businesses. 

Major ways of promoting products:
  • Development and presentation of profitable product offers to business partners;
  • Preparation of promotion campaigns;
  • Organisation of workshops and seminars;
  • Organisation of road shows;
  • Development of various marketing projects in cooperation with business partners;
  • Regular observation and analysis of market situation and opportunities.
Main corporate marketing activities:
  • Developing and maintaining ELKO Grupa company’s external communications, including cooperation with media, sponsorship, maintaining home-pages and other information channels;
  • Developing and maintaining ELKO Grupa company’s internal communication among the company’s 14  sales offices;
  • Organising ELKO Group’s corporate events, including internal company events;
  • Facilitating the recognition and positive image of the company, including the improvement and direction of ELKO corporate style
    development and manufacturing of the company’s corporate materials.
