DISTREE XXL - EMEA region’s premier distribution event took place in Monaco from February 9th-12th. At this time DISTREE XXL brought together more than 700 participants and 4,000-plus personal meetings between vendors and distributors, conference sessions, workshops and networking opportunities.
For the first time as part of annual DISTREE XXL 2009 conference, the inaugural awards ceremony for the “EMEA Channel Academy: 2009 Awards” voted winners in 9 distribution territories and 8 vendor categories, including the best distributor in Russia & CIS territory. A special jury of vendor representatives from more than 80 countries voted live electronic. As proof of the correct choice, the company's development strategy and cooperation with its partners – in category “The best distributor in Russia and CIS region” the winner was declared company ELKO - one of the leading IT products and components wholesale distributors in Eastern Europe.
