During the annual Intel Distributor Enabling Conference (DEC), which took place in Athens (Greece) from 1st to 2nd April, Intel awarded two ELKO Group employees for their successful collaboration in developing Intel business.
The DEC gathers together Intel's key partners in the EMEA region. The 2-day event offers an excellent chance to see and enjoy the latest desktop, server and nettop products, exchange the latest information and knowledge with Intel product experts in the breakout sessions and open discussions with Intel finance and operational staff. In addition, you can hear about the latest tools and programs for accelerating and growing business.
During the conference, awards are presented to the best distributors in trade groups and regions. This year, Intel awards were received by two ELKO Group employees - Elena Komissarova, product and sales manager for the ELKO Group in Moscow, for "Outstanding effort in developing Intel business in 2008" and Brindusa Belgrader, sales manager for the ELKO Group in Romania, for "Outstanding support in 2008".
The DEC has been attended by ELKO Group representatives since collaboration began in 1995. The award-winning ELKO Group employees admit: "The awards received are significant appreciation for a long-lasting, mutually successful and reliable cooperation, and give us the incentive and energy to achieve and implement our common targets in the future".
Due to more than 14 years of successful cooperation, ELKO Group has become the number one distributor of Intel products in Russia, Latvia, Estonia and Slovakia, and is in the top three in the EMEA.
