Starting from 23 October Jānis Casno has joined Latvia's biggest enterprise - IT wholesale distributor ELKO Group as Managing Director and member of the board.
Mr. Casno has more than 10 years of experience with the ELKO Group. From the period of 2002 to 2007, Jānis Casno was a member of the board and held the position of Executive Director. Previously he had held the position of IT Department Director and Deputy Financial Officer.
Jānis Casno holds a MA degree in Economics from the University of Latvia.

JSC ELKO Group was established in 1993. ELKO Group is Latvia's largest enterprise, with a turnover last year exceeding 1 billion US Dollars, while the company's turnover in the first six months of this year has exceeded 555 million US Dollars. The company's main activity is the wholesale of computer equipment and electronics in the Baltics, Central Europe and the CIS.
The company represents about 70 manufacturers and sells the goods to more than 6 300 retailers, local computer hardware manufacturers and system integrators.
