The leading IT products and components wholesaler in Eastern Europe, Latvia’s largest company ELKO Group JSC is the largest wholesaler of Intel products in Latvia.
ELKO Group JSC has worked with IT products manufacturer Intel since 1996, which makes ELKO Group JSC their longest-lasting business partner in the Baltic States and Latvia. Furthermore, ELKO Group JSC is also one of the largest business partners of Intel and, starting with the second quarter of this year, has taken first place in terms of wholesale of all Intel products on the Latvian market, thus ensuring it the highest market share for these products.
ELKO Group JSC displays stable sales performance and is a long-lasting Latvian leader in the sector of wholesale of Intel server components. At the same time, ELKO Group JSC is rapidly gaining on a leader’s share of Estonia’s Intel products market, and its Intel sales volumes are growing in Lithuania as well.
Intel is the world’s leading manufacturer of innovative semiconductors and a developer of IT products and technologies. The company was founded in 1968 and started operation by producing semiconductor memory products. In 1971, Intel commenced manufacture of the world’s first microprocessors. Presently, Intel manufactures desktop processors, desktop motherboards, laptop processors, servers and server processors, as well as various network solutions.
ELKO Group JSC was founded in 1993. ELKO Group JSC is the largest company in Latvia, reaching a turnover of over one billion U.S. dollars last year. The main aspect of the company’s business is wholesale of computer equipment and electronics in the Baltic States, Central Europe and the CIS. The company represents around 70 manufacturers and sells their products to more than 6 300 retailers, local computer manufacturers and systems integrators. ELKO Group offers over 7,000 products made by the world’s best-known suppliers: „Acer”, „Intel”, „Seagate”, „Samsung”, „Sony” and „Western Digital”.
