On July 20, 2006 ELKO Group signed an agreement with credit insurance company Euler Hermes for credit insurance and debt collection services.
According to the terms of agreement, the insurance will cover the risk of ELKO Group sales offices in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia and Croatia. This will allow ELKO Group to minimize the credit risk associated with its business transactions by insuring trade receivables against insolvency or delayed payment.

With the aim to optimise sales processes and improve client service quality in the Baltic countries ELKO Grupa AS management has decided to restructure the company’s sales structure in the Baltic market. From June 5, 2006 all business operations and liabilities of ELKO Latvija SIA and ELKO Eesti AS will be overtaken by the mother company ELKO Grupa AS.
The changes in the first place will affect ELKO operations in Latvia and Estonia.

ELKO Group entered into a distribution agreement with LSI Logic. Under the terms of the agreement, ELKO will sell a full range of LSI storage adapter products to customers in Central Eastern European countries.
"We know LSI Logic as the leading supplier of storage adapters to the global PC and server markets,” said Ingra Skreba, Product Manager at ELKO Group.

In the beginning of 2006 Genius summarized data about action in previous year and assigned the "Distributor award 2005" to the ELKO Group. ELKO Group has received gratitude for dedication for Genius products in Baltic states.

A/S Elko Group, one of Eastern Europe's biggest wholesalers of computer hardware and peripherals, is riding a wave of demand for its products spurred by rapid economic growth in its nine-country region.
The company boosted sales by 41% in 2005 to reach $610 million and expects to break the $1 billion mark by 2008.

ELKO Group announced today a record high revenue of 225,9 Mio $ for the fourth quarter in 2005. As usual the fourth quarter was the strongest quarter of the year with 36% increase compared to the previous quarter and 59% increase compared to fourth quarter in 2004. Operating income and net profits are also expected to be higher than originally planned.
