On October 20th 2005 during annual Intel Disti Sales Coference in Amsterdam three honourable Intel awards were granted to ELKO Group’s Intel product management team - for Highest Intel Server Platform Attach Rate in Central Eastern European Region, for Greatest volume growth of Intel Centrinfo Mobile Technology next generation platform and for highest Intel Pentium 4 Processor 600 sequence mix in Russia/ CIS Region.

Bucharest, September, 23rd - ELKOTech Romania held its annual Partner Meeting in the Brancoveanu Palace, the finest location in Mogosoaia, Romania. Despite one week of never-ending rain resulted in floods that have threaten the surroundings area of Bucharest (among them Mogosoaia, the meeting place), the event has gathered together all the most ‘brave’ partners – customers (system integrators, resellers), vendors, representatives of ELKO Group management and press.

From 18 till 21 August ELKO celebrated its ten years of success in Russian market. Celebration took place in Riga, a birthplace of ELKO Group, and the event gathered together over 160 participants – ELKO Russia key customers, ELKO Russia team, our key vendors in Russian market, and ELKO Group management.

We congratulate ELKO teams for the great performance during 3rd motorboat World Championship, which took place during July 2-3, 2005.
More than 28 teams from six countries took part in the competition in different classes. ELKO participated with 2 teams. ELKO 1 team - Stanislav Matveyev and Sergey Zhirov - became the bronze prize-winners in 3rd calss, and Ilya Kashin and Andrey Panyushkin won an honourable 6th place, passing forward stronger and more experienced sportsmen.

ELKO Group has signed an agreement with Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Hitachi GST) to start the distribution of hard disk drive (HDD) products in Russia, Eastern Europe and the Baltics.
“The rapid digitalization of consumer goods is happening throughout the world and our HDD business has grown rapidly over the last several years, with more than 1.5 million units sold in 2004,” said Jens Hartmann, CEO of the ELKO Group.

During May 5-7 ELKO Group held ELKO Group Baltic & Central and Eastern Europe Workshop 2005 - an extensive workshop with participants from ELKO sales offices and headquarters and our business partners. The event gathered in Sigulda - one of Latvia’s most inspiring cities - administration, sales, finance, logistics and marketing managers from ELKO HQ and sales offices in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, and Slovakia.
