Bucharest - 16 September, 2009 ELKOTech Romania celebrates in September this year a decade of activity. Founded in 1999, the company became one of the leading players in the market for IT equipment distribution in Romania, with continued growth from year to year, demonstrating a stable performance and a reputation of a reliable partner in the IT industry.

15 year ago there was established company ELKO Riga, which today we consider as first step towards further development for company ELKO Group.
Since then - 15 years are past. Company has experienced bountiful, fulfilled period gaining strong positions in whole region.

From 18 till 21 August ELKO celebrated its ten years of success in Russian market. Celebration took place in Riga, a birthplace of ELKO Group, and the event gathered together over 160 participants – ELKO Russia key customers, ELKO Russia team, our key vendors in Russian market, and ELKO Group management.

Founded on May 14th in 1993 by four Latvian young men today ELKO Group has grown into a multinational half billion $ company with 361 employees.

On 1st – 2nd October’04 ELKOTech Romania celebrated its fifth anniversary since the company has started operations in Romanian market. On this occasion, a special cycle of seminars was organized which included ELKOTech Romania and ELKO Group corporate presentations as well as presentations of the leading international vendors Intel, Gigabyte, Western Digital, D-Link.

On May 21st ELKO Kaunas gathered together its main business partners – dealers and vendors – to celebrate its ten years of operations in Lithuanian market.

In September 2003 ELKO Kiev, ELKO Group sales office in Ukraine, celebrated its 5 years anniversary. On the occasion of the 5th birthday a special dealer forum and a festive program was organized. More than 100 guests from world leading IT manufacturers and biggest Ukrainian retail companies attended the event in Ukraine's famous Black sea resort Alushta in Crimea.

In May 2003 ELKO Group celebrated its 10th anniversary. In ten year time a vision born in the heads of four Latvian youngsters was actualised in developing a strong and dynamic company, now known as one of the leading IT distributors in Central and Eastern Europe.
